Ground/Roof Mounted Solar Systems
Solar Water Heaters or Solar Domestic Hot Water Systems can be a cost-effective way to generate hot water for your home, using a FREE fuel – our sunshine! Solar Water Heating Systems use Solar Panels (or Collectors), which are typically mounted on the north facing aspect of a roof, to capture the heat and light from the sun. Water is drawn into the Panels from a Storage Tank which is either located on the roof or at ground level. The heated water travels from the bottom of the Panel to the top, where it is then returned to the tank.
Dux Sunpro Range
The Dux Sunpro is a ground mounted, split solar system (tank on ground, solar collector panels on roof) and comes in Gas & Electric boosted models.
- Mains pressure hot water unlike continuous flow boosted systems
- Low megajoule consumption burner
- Patented Panel Management System protects against overheating in summer & frost damage in winter
- Fully compliant to the new solar legislation
Rheem Loline Range
TheRheem Loline® is a ground mounted, split solar system (tank on ground, solar collector panels on roof) and comes in Gas & Electric boosted models.
Do your bit for the planet and save energy at the same time! Go solar with the Rheem Loline® solar hot water heater. It’s designed for warmer climates and areas with good water quality.
If you need an emergency replacement, you can run this water heater on its electric boost until your panels are installed.
Rheem Hiline Range
The Rheem Hiline® solar hot water heater is ideal for warmer climates and areas with good water quality. It’s a great option when ground access is limited as the storage tank and solar panels are mounted together on the roof. The Rheem Premier Hiline® solar water heater is ideal for cooler climates, prone to frost with good water quality.
Rinnai Sunmaster Range
The Rinnai Sunmaster solar range is designed to maximise the free energy from the sun, whilst also providing quality units that are affordable. Environmentally friendly and cost effective, Rinnai have developed 3 types of solar hot water units, close coupled systems, flat plate systems and evacuated tube systems, which allow their solar water heaters to be integrated into almost any home.
Split/Integrated Heat Pump Water Heaters
Instead of generating heat directly, Heat Pump Water Heaters use electricity to move heat from the air and transfer it to heat your water, the reverse of a refrigerator! They are up to three times more efficient than conventional electric water heaters. When used in the right climate conditions they save energy, save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
You can purchase a stand-alone heat pump water heating system as an integrated unit with a built-in water storage tank and back-up resistance heating elements. You can also retrofit a heat pump to work with an existing storage water heater.
Dux Airoheat
- An easy one piece, compact design makes for a quick and simple installation
- Airoheat now includes an innovative de-icing function so there’s no need for a back-up element
- Management by the innovative Hotlogic® controller allows the Airoheat to keep running in cold climates
Rheem Heat Pump Range
A Rheem heat pump can help reduce your energy usage over time and bring your carbon emissions down too. With a gas or electric booster, you can have hot showers all year round – even when the sun doesn’t shine!
- Same fittings as an electric water heater
- No solar panels required
- Relatively low cost to purchase and install
